Shingeki no Kyojin:
I don't really write journals but~......well actually I'm mainly just using this opportunity to use a pretty journal skin since it's Free PM day~~ xD yay! lol like always hehe
Umm...I don't usually talk a lot about myself because I never know anything interesting I could tell but it wouldn't hurt to tell about some things that I have been thinking about recently. No one's obligated to read this because it's more of a rant but if anyone will find this interesting then by all means. xD
Anyway, since I go to an art school (of crafts) I don't have much time to devote myself to my hobbies. It’s Funny right? Because art is my hobby, after all. xD haha but art tasks given by a teacher are different from what I like or want to do (not always though). Of course everything I learn is very valuable and I know that it helps me improve (and it does) but at the same time I can't really let my imagination let loose and fully expand my vision so I feel like I am being weight down. I am positive that a lot of people have felt the same way before or are experiencing this now. I listen to my teachers because they have more experience and knowledge than I do but sometimes I think that it is wrong that they don't let you do things in YOUR way. When there is a task there are also some rules or things you need to keep in mind while doing it and it's completely fine because the tasks are made so that you learn something new. However if you abide by what the task tells you to do, why can't the rest be up to you? People have different taste in pretty much everything including art so while someone might not like an art piece there will be others who will. I really think art is subjective and it very much depends on what the person likes, dislikes and what type of person they are.
I was just wondering if anyone shares these thoughts with me. :3
And I also am interested in something so I want to ask a question.
''What does art mean to you?''
I would really love to hear other opinions on this because it's different for everybody.
For me, it is something really special. I don't want to tell my life's story haha so let's just say that drawing kept me occupied for the most time when I was little and I had a lot of fun doing it. Since then I just naturally came to love art. It's practically the one thing that I have never put away or given up on. That feeling deepened even more when I started watching anime with my brother.
I wanted to make pretty art like that and I wanted to be able to draw my favorite characters and also draw original things.
So uuh, yup. This might be a pretty random journal but I still wanted to write this. Gotta make the best out of this journal yo. xD
